Hello reader,

I decided to write some stories for my eight year old son Matthew to read during the COVID-19 lockdown as part of his home schooling activities.

Matthew enjoyed reading the stories (or at least he said that he did) and so I decided to share them online. You can read the stories on this site by clicking on the 'Stories' page.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of readers who have already started reading the books and adding them to their libraries in the short time that they have been written.

Will is eight years old and lives with his mum, dad and his dog, Clive. He spends much of his time with his best friend Charlie, who is also eight, and Alex - his eighteen year old next door neighbour. Will is a good boy, but he has an unfortunate habit of getting into trouble and situations that often go from bad to worse.

These short stories are suitable for children aged 7-11 years old.*
